Training
Our dedicated instructors comprise of a Class 1 Master Mariner and an Olympic sailor. We believe that experience is the key when teaching as we can bring knowledge and real life situations into the lessons.
At Java Yachting our main priority is ensuring that students have a safe, enjoyable time whilst learning in and around the Phuket and Krabi regions.
Our modern boats all comply to the guidelines set out by IYT/ MCA with regard to safety equipment and electronics. All Yachts are fitted with either B&G or Raymarine instruments as well as AIS and Radar, allowing us to teach the more advanced modules of some courses.
What makes us different to other schools?
At Java Yachting we teach all courses as liveaboard as we feel that the best way to learn is by spending extended periods of time aboard a yacht. Using this method and our specially designed training plans and materials, we give our students all the experience neccessary to either charter a yacht, work on a yacht or even own a yacht.
