Our team of dedicated professionals are passionate.
Java Yachting started about 20 years ago, offering quality training for sailors seeking IYT certification, from beginner to offshore Yacht Master. Initially established in Phuket with a satellite base in Krabi, the company was well positioned to attract aspiring sailors from around the region.
We acquired well-founded, well-equipped boats for live-aboard courses, and the fleet now includes a wide range of craft to meet a variety of clients’ needs.
Our ethos is to provide the best possible training, with a focus on safe navigation and seamanship. Ultimately, this principle gives our clients the confidence to handle the many situations that can arise during their time on the water.
Java Yachting has grown substantially since its founding and now offers a range of programs from bases in Phuket and Krabi, and, more recently, has opened a water sports centre on Koh Lon, just off the south coast of Phuket.
Having spent over 50 years in the marine industry, 30 of which in command of a variety of ships trading worldwide, I believe Java Yachting is well placed to maintain its position as one of the premier yacht training and charter companies in Asia.
