Have you ever felt like some of your skills could be improved? 

We are now offering full-day courses to give you the opportunity to brush up on your practical seamanship.

Practical training

Practise in a marina-controlled environment onboard one of our modern yachts, whilst receiving guidance from our experienced instructors.

For practical training on our monohull and/or catamaran or on customers’ own boat: teaching can include:-

  • Coming alongside and leaving on pontoon berths, finger berths, along with Mediterranean mooring.
  • Springing off in different conditions.
  • Manoeuvring in tight spaces using prop wash and prop walk.
  • Anchoring and mooring practice.
  • Picking up and leaving a buoy.
  • Heavy-weather tactics, including reefing and heaving-to.
  • Crew management and troubleshooting.
  • Review performance and feedback; if necessary, consider further training.
